CREATIVE SOLUTIONS GROUP WINS THREE ART OF THE SHOW AWARDS
Two First Place Awards and One Honorable Mention Award to be Presented at Expo! Expo!

Alexandria, VA, September 22, 2005 – National Trade Productions (NTP) is pleased to announce that Creative Solutions Group (CSG), the creative division of NTP, has been awarded three 2005 International Association for Exhibition Management (IAEM) annual The Art of the Show awards. CSG won first place for TS2 2005 for Brand Design Development (under 50,000 square feet), first place for Coverings 2005 for Email Promotion (over 150,000 square feet), and honorable mention for the TS2 2005 Exhibitor Sales Prospectus (under 50,000 square feet). This year’s winnings brings CSG’s IAEM award total to six awards over the last three years.

Expo! IAEM's Annual Meeting & Exhibition taking place in Atlanta, Georgia, November 29 - December 1.

The TS2 "Are You In?" campaign presented a variety of images showcasing the TS2 logo to create a members-only community for the trade show industry. It was a dramatic change from previous years, one that distinguished its new owners and moved the show in a new direction. The campaign relied on a combination of new marketing strategies and tried-and- true marketing techniques, including direct mail brochures, expo passes, exhibitor marketing, an interactive introduction to the Web site and a highly successful lenticular postcard.

The award-winning TS2 exhibitor prospectus also relied on the "Are You In?" campaign and was the first impression the exhibitors had of the new vision, direction and marketing campaign for the 2005 show.

“The new look of the 2005 TS2 campaign was edgy, fun, and reflected the out-of-the-box thinking necessary to stand out in the trade show and events industry. It was the perfect way to build a hip, exclusive community among TS2 participants,” said TS2 exhibitor Dave Walens, President, Brumark.

The Coverings email promotion played off the artwork of the entire campaign, which focused on the experience of the event. The entire marketing campaign, including the Flash presentation, utilized numerous product shots showcasing the incredible stone and tile that is displayed throughout the more than 500,000 net square foot trade show floor. In the attendee marketing pieces, CSG relied on product shots to illustrate what could be done with the materials exhibited to illustrate how the products can inspire interior and exterior designs. The Coverings Flash email was done in conjunction with Manning Productions, Inc.

When making their decision on award recipients, judges of the Art of the Show awards looked at criteria comprised of category-specific measures, and included creativity, clarity of message, graphic design, layout, copy, creation of brand association, and overall presentation. For Web entries, ease of navigation and user-friendliness were also considered.
