On Monday, August 15 and Tuesday, August 16, 2011, representatives from American Public Transportation Association (APTA), Freeman, NTP and Lakeshore Audiovisual flew down to New Orleans for the final tie-down meeting for APTA’s EXPO 2011.

They met with the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority and area hotels to finalize logistics and last minute show-related items. Everyday was action-packed with meetings and walk-throughs, but all parties feel that they are ready for the world’s largest public transportation industry event! EXPO 2011 is coming up October 3-5 and will feature 750 exhibitors and more than 17,000 attendees. NTP has managed APTA's EXPO for over ten years and provides the show management, expo marketing, operations and exhibit and sponsorship sales.
